Buy Tape Backup Which Is Better To Backup Data On Terabyte Hdd's Or Tapes?

Which is better to backup data on terabyte hdd's or tapes? - buy tape backup

I give a tape drive and wandered if it was better to save my stuff on tape, or simply buy terabyte hard drives

The tape drive is making a DAT24 that support DDS-3

The tapes are a thing of the past ... Back when hard drives were very expensive and not very large (as opposed to terabyte drive that you mentioned). It was unknown at the time with hard disk solely for backup purposes.

In addition, roles have to be physically injured and duct tape to get the data it contains, and to read the data that it contains. That is a lot of wear or breakage.

I remember years ago when I worked in a computer center, and we had to retrieve data for someone ... we have found the first volume and then run a special software to know where the data and then wait until the tape was immediately sent to the right section had. Finally, we believe that our breath and prayed integrity of the data, which is good.

It has put 10 years ago, as a technology in its infancy. Do today, would probably be a reader who is very old to help, and tape media is very old (unless they are new) still.

If there is confusion about what I recommend ... I'm not saying the tape and the disk itself satisfieshod.
